Cerro Coso Community College values student success. The Kern Community College District began offering classes in our service area in the 1950's. The College has grown steadily since that time. Part of our mission is to provide a high quality education for those in our community who seek to transfer to a 4-year college or university through our university transfer program. The other part of our mission is to offer cutting edge professional/technical programs for those seeking a career or professional development. We strive to offer comprehensive services at all of our campuses including Indian Wells Valley, Kern River Valley, East Kern, ESCC Bishop, and ESCC Mammoth Lakes. Short-term and 2-year programs are available to address your needs.

Our College encompasses a service area of over 18,500 square miles—the largest college service area in the State of California. We offer an outstanding faculty and staff in each of our locations who are dedicated to serving students.
