Cerro Coso Community College's Student Activities Office is making sure students returning to classes are not only welcomed back to campus with enjoyable and fun activities, but also with plenty of information about the College’s organizations and activities.
Through its 2016 Fall Welcome Week event, the Student Activities Office will be holding events all week to help students become involved on campus.
The week kicks off Monday, August 15 with information, support services, and games from 4 to 7 p.m. and will close with a screening of Pan on Thursday evening. These events are only the start of a busy week, though.
Welcome Week will also include a new student orientation, barbecue, tours, music, faculty meet and greet, among other events.

Monday & Tuesday, Aug. 15 & 16
4:00pm-7:00pm in the West Village
Admissions and Records help, Bookstore tours and giveaways, campus tours, counseling support, financial aid assistance, help obtaining parking permits, introduction to campus resources, student id cards, tips for returning students, and Veterans support.
Wednesday, Aug. 17
3:30pm-4:30pm - Learning Resource Center, Room 604.
New student orientation.
5:00pm-6:30pm - Gymnasium courtyard
Barbecue, bookstore preview and sales, games, and music in the gymnasium courtyard.
6:00pm-7:00pm - ESCC Bishop Campus
ESCC Bishop Welcome Dinner: Join the Owens Valley Career Development Center, Eastern Sierra Foundation, and Cerro Coso Bishop Campus staff for a start of semester Welcome Dinner. All Fall 2016 Cerro Coso Bishop Students welcome!
Thursday, Aug. 18
3:30pm-5:00pm - Learning Resource Center foyer
Come meet the CCCC faculty in the foyer of the Learning Resource Center and receive bookstore help.
8:00pm-10:00pm - Sculpture Garden
Free screen of the movie Pan in the sculpture garden. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the movie under the beautiful night sky.
4:30pm to 6:00pm - South Gateway Student Apartments
