The Cerro Coso Community College Band will present their fall concert at 7pm on Thursday, November 17, at the Parker Performing Arts Center at Burroughs High School.

The concert will feature Suite Francaise by Darius Milhaud. The Suite is Milhaud’s tribute to France after World War II, written in 1945 in his characteristic style of polytonal, yet lyric melodies. Other pieces include the marches American Salute and Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, a little known Sousa march. The band will bring the classics to life with A Carmen Celebration and Seventy Six Trombones. St. Thomas is a wonderful Latin creation and Jersey Boys is classic rock at its finest. Truly something for every music lover at this concert!

Admission to the concert is free; donations to the college music program are gratefully accepted.
